As the ongoing #EndSARS is becoming a national issue whereby politician has been going about critising their mode of operation, a Twitter user has taken to the platform to share her own ordeal with the anti-robbery operatives.

According to one @olaeloquence, who was travelling with her friend to Ilorin from Ife on a fateful day, she was stopped by the operatives, who literally showed her and her friend the unforgetable.

“People calling for scrapping of SARS may likely be armed robbers” – Police PRO #EndSars

The spokesperson of the Nigerian Police Force, Jimoh Moshood has said the people calling for the proscription of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) may be armed robbers.

Speaking to TheCable on Sunday, Jimoh Moshood, police spokesman, said SARS has lived up to its duty of curbing violent crimes and so, calls for its proscription should be “totally condemned”.
