MTN, Google, to support technology conference

Leading Telecom MTN Nigeria and key industry players in the technology sector have given their backing to TECH+, Nigeria’s biggest technology conference and exhibition event, which is billed for July 24 and 25 in Lagos.

The endorsement came at a media unveiling of the initiative in Lagos and the organisers said it would showcase technology at its best with a view to helping people get the best out of life through optimising of the wide spectrum technological development.

The industry leaders include Huawei, Jumia, Google, Coscharis Motors, Samsung, Terragon Group, Enplug Africa, Atlantic Exhibition and the Lagos State Signage and Advertising Agency.

The General Manager, Consumer Marketing, MTN Nigeria, Richard Iweanoge, said that the global impact of technology across all areas of human endeavour had made it more imperative that people stay in touch with the world around them to be able to identify with technological advancements that could reshape their world.

He said, “As we all know, technology is fast evolving and the world has become a global village where people across the globe can communicate with one another with just a touch of a button.
