A man has been spotted doing the unbelievable after he gulped down an entire half-pint of beer through his nose. Most drinkers have probably been challenged to down a pint on a night out – but this guy took the party trick to another level.
The thirsty man is seen gulping down what looks like half a pint of beer through his nose. Footage was uploaded to LiveLeak showing the skilled drinker taking the liquid in through his nose and then gulping it down as part of what seems to be a drinking competition.
As he performs the unusual trick people can be seen cheering as music plays in the background. It is not clear where the footage was filmed, but it was uploaded in the Lanzhou district of China earlier this week and has since been viewed more than 1,000 times.
The fastest record for downing a pint of beer belongs to pensioner Peter Dowdeswell who can apparently down the 568ml measurement in 45 seconds.
The 74-year-old from Northampton also holds the title for being able to eat 148 prunes in a minute. And for anyone inspired to take up a drinking challenge, Peter has some sage advice.
He said: “Hold your head straight and throw it down your neck.”
