The Weeknd Pulls Out of Rihanna’s ‘ANTI World Tour’

  Rihanna won’t be “Work”-ing with The Weeknd on her “ANTI World Tour” anymore. Live Nation has announced that the Canadian crooner will no longer be part of the European leg of the global run.

“Due to some unforeseen changes with upcoming projects, The Weeknd will no longer be joining Rihanna on her upcoming international ‘ANTI’ World Tour,'” the promoters said in a statement (via NME).

Prior to postponing the start of her “ANTI World Tour,” RiRi announced Abel’s participation in the tour, noting that he and Big Sean would be hitting Europe with her.

The show must go on. As reported, Rih kicked off her tour earlier this month in Jacksonville, Fla. before surprising fans with a Drake appearance in Miami. Tonight, she’s slated to appear at Buffalo, New York’s First Niagara Center.

Sans The Weeknd, the European leg of Rihanna’s tour is set to launch June 17 in Amsterdam.
