The launch which was held on Tuesday August 4, at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Accra was attended by government officials, former contestants, as well as some other players within the entertainment industry.
Speaking at the event, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Elizabeth Ofosu Agyare called for more private sector participation towards developing the creative arts of the tourism sub-sector.
This she explained will help in promoting Ghana’s image to the international market.

On her part, a former contestant and CEO of Exclusive Events Ghana, Inna Maryan Patty expressed her excitement at the impact the program has made over the years in ensuring that young, beautiful and intelligent women are empowered to contribute to socio-economic growth of the country.
Meanwhile a graduate of Information Technology of the Pentecost University and Winner of the 2014 edition of Miss Ghana, Nadia Ntanu in an interview with Citi news explained how the feat has helped in shaping her dream of making a difference in society.
She however advocated a healthy working relationship between organizers and sponsors in order to avert the instances of the inability to provide winning packages for winners of such events.

Auditioning for this year’s competition is slated for August 28 and September 3 at the best western Atlantic hotel in Takoradi and the Holiday Inn in Accra respectively.
The winner is expected to be taking away a brand new Citroen C4 Aircross.
