According to reports, the white “f” in a blue square used on Facebook as the home button will stay the same, but the styling of the word “Facebook” has been updated.
Working with Eric Olson of Process Type Foundry, Facebook’s in-house designers created custom lettering to make the logo “feel more friendly and approachable”, stated Engadget.
The image below shows the differences between the new and old logos – with the new “a” the most drastic change.
