Levi's and Google team up to create 'touch-sensitive' clothes

Washington: Renowned American clothing chain Levi's has joined hands with Google to bring you their touch-sensitive fabric inside your jeans.

The clothing brand has become the first partner in tech giant's ATAP unit's Project Jacquard at I/O 2015, which offers a connected fabric tech, enabling to connecting devices and power inside the clothes, reported The Verge.

Paul Dillinger of Levi Strauss called Jacquard a 'dazzling opportunity' for a partnership between the two companies, explaining that they took this up as they wanted to make it easier for people to integrate their gadgets into every daily lives.

He added that if they were successful in delivering that value in the form of clothes, the project was worth doing.
