She has a certain mystique about her.
It’s a great time to be a fan of big franchise comic book movies, isn’t it? We’re getting the goods on “Captain America: Civil War,” with new set pictures emerging almost every day, and now the all-star cast of “X-Men: Apocalypse” is trickling in as well.
Today brought the biggest mutant gift thus far with the arrival of the one and only Jennifer Lawrence, Mystique herself, on the set of the ’80s-era movie.
Director Bryan Singer snapped an Instagram of the actress cozying up to co-star (and former beau) Nicholas Hoult on the set, hashtagging it #thekidsinthehall.
Not a trace of blue on her that we can see, but there’s still plenty of time for that in coming days…of future past. (Sorry.)
According to Lawrence, “Apocalypse” is the final “X-Men” film she’ll be appearing in, so we really need to cherish these moments while we still can.
“X-Men: Apocalypse” hits theaters May 27, 2016.
